MYCP’s (supported by Porticus) Micro-Grant Initiative, Igniting Impact, aims to empower youth-led initiatives by providing small grants to organisations and active groups that drive meaningful change in global challenges. The programme focuses on funding youth-led projects in gender justice, health, human trafficking, and climate mobility, prioritising the inclusion of displaced persons. 

Outreach, Connections & Business Development:
Gia is instrumental in identifying and building partnerships with organisations, founders, and accelerators aligned with MYCP’s mission. This involves supporting MYCP’s outreach efforts, helping to expand and diversify the applicant pool for the micro-grants programme.

Programme Design & Strategy:
Gia led the programme's design, including creating the eligibility criteria, description, and evaluation matrix for applicants. Additionally, Gia is working with MYCP to ensure the programme’s strategic goals align with its broader mission and creates a pathway for long-term sustainability.

Grant Coordination & Impact Monitoring
Gia assists in coordinating the delivery of grants, from outreach and applicant selection to monitoring and evaluating the impact of funded initiatives. This includes working closely with grantees to track progress, assess outcomes, and refine strategies for maximum impact.
